Three talented Garlands cooks brought home the second place medal in the Chicago Chapter of the Association for Healthcare Culinary Challenge. As with the popular reality TV show, Iron Chef, this culinary trio was given duck breast as their main ingredient. The Garlands team of Hugo Lopez, Victor Olivera and Edward Topel collaborated and prepared four identical dishes, one for display and three for the judges, of Grand Marnier Duck Breast with sweet mashed potatoes, carrots and haricots vert. “A la cuisine!”
